Boot Camp Summer Series

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovery of sight to the blind, To set free those who are oppressed,

We want spontaneous change, but it doesn't work that way. Just like a soldier has to be dedicated and committed we have to be dedicated to becoming more like Jesus. We have to allow the spirit to wok in our lives.

Discipline:

One word that comes to mind when thinking about military boot camp is discipline. That is the purpose of the boot camp is to take raw recruits and discipline them. Make them into soldiers. They have to learn discipline. I think the same thing is true with a believer in our spiritual boot camp. We have to learn to be disciplined.

Just like there are heroes in the military who sacrifice for our country, there are God's heroes who serve Him faithfully. God's heroes are men and women who are single minded about the things of God. They find their strength in the Lord and believe that character is more important than accomplishments.

Summer Boot Camp!!!

As Christians we are Soldiers in God's army. He has called us, enlisted us, drafted us,into His service. So we are always in training to be better equipped for the ministry that God has called us to.

School's Out!

That marks the unofficial start of summer. Everyone is excited for all summer holds. Summer is a great time to refresh and renew your relationships with friends, family and especially your relationship with the Lord. Just remember to keep first things first.
