Have you ever made plans that didn't work out? Have you had to change plans right in the middle of something? Can you imagine how Mary and Joseph might have felt when their plans got changed?

We are made in God's image. Colossians 3:1-10 provides us insight of how to become Christ-like.

Give Thanks:

If we are to truly be thankful we should:

Remember all the Lord has done.

We should notice all the blessings He has given us.

We should not give leftover thanks.

Today we kick off a new series out of the book of Malachi. This last book of the Old Testament gives us a look into the lives of the Jews after they had been allowed to return home from captivity. About 100 years had passed since the return of the Jews to the homeland. The city of Jerusalem and the second Temple has been built, but initial enthusiasm had worn off. They had become casual in their worship and other areas. Its a reminder to us today to be careful not to loose our enthusiasm for worship, and ministry and what God have called each one of us to. God deserves our best in every area of faith walk with Him!!
