Are Our Prayers Small?

How would you describe your prayer life?

Do we pray bold prayers lie Paul prayed? God wants us to pray bold prayers. God wants us to believe His promises when we pray.

He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly beyond all we can ask or imagine.

We are so used to nothing in life being free or at least thinking there must be a catch when someone talks about something being free. That's why some people struggle with God's grace. Don't I have to add something to this deal? But, grace wouldn't be grace if it weren't free. Grace is a gift that costs everything to the giver and nothing to the receiver.

In the 2nd half of Ephesians 1 we have recorded a prayer that Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus. It's an amazing prayer where he prays that they will become aware of all the amazing things they already have in Christ.

What Money Can't Buy

Today we kick off the study of Ephesians. What an amazing letter that Paul wrote to this church. This letter shows us the amazing blessings and riches we have in Christ! I hope you will read it carefully as we dig into these amazing truths.

Before Jesus came, people operated under the law. The law was their teacher. It showed them that no matter how hard they tried they couldn't keep it. But when Jesus came there was true freedom. We don't have to try and please God by what we do.

Do You Have to be Perfect?

A lot of people will say that you don't have to be perfect to go to heaven. But the truth is that you do. Either you have to be perfect or you have to find someone who can to be perfect in your place. Jesus did that for us. It's called Justification!!
