Reading through the last four chapters of Mark’s Gospel together, we look again at the incredible work of Jesus Christ. We consider the three contexts (of the Temple, Garden and Cross) that reveal something of how His life, death, burial and resurrection fulfilled all that was required to restore mankind’s relationship with the Father and more besides!

Mary was a woman who knew what it was to give her all to Jesus, to pour out what was most costly to her. We consider today what it means for us to be like her: will we linger long enough to listen to Jesus, to "waste" our lives in worship at His feet, to surrender our lives as a sweet-smelling sacrifice and to see many saved as a result of the overflow of our time in His presence?

In Matthew 13:33 Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of God is like yeast that spreads everywhere.
