As we read chapters 4 to 6 of Mark’s Gospel, we see that Jesus has expectations of His disciples, as He does for us today! We see how He teaches, models and commissions them (and us today); to Go like there’s no tomorrow, give like we won’t run out, gather like we make a difference and grow like never before.

In our first School of Ministry for 2016, Andrew equips the church and helps us to learn that being prophetic is for everyone, not just a select few. We understand that the prophetic must begin with a heart of love and a servant's attitude. We should be good stewards and give time to understanding the true riches of The Word.

Much of Genesis is devoted to the story of Joseph and the outworking of the God-given dreams that propelled him from a dysfunctional family to a place of worldwide influence! God has a purpose for our lives and our churches: He wants us to embrace big dreams that will capture our hearts and minds, shape our destinies and make us fruitful day to day!...

In the opening chapters of Mark’s Gospel we meet Jesus as He starts to transform the lives of all who come to Him. Join us as we discover what it was that caused great multitudes of ordinary people to follow Him and respond to His profound teaching and His powerful touch.

The ministry of Jesus began just as His Father said it would (Mk 1:1-2). The words of the Father spoken over the life of the Son were His secure foundation, His road map and His springboard into action in every situation. Jesus declared, ‘The time has come’ (Mk 1:15) because He saw in every situation the moment pregnant with God's purpose (kairos), such that He was able to move in the power of the Holy Spirit to bring to everyone He met just what they needed. Mark’s fast paced narrative illustrates for us how this enabled Jesus to pursue His Father’s will without being deviated or distracted from His course, by giving Himself completely to every God-appointed kairos.

The Gospels of the New Testament present a 4 dimensional portrait of Jesus Christ! As we begin our study of Mark's Gospel, we take an overview of the book and look at what we can learn specifically from the emphasis Mark places on Christ as a servant who moves in authority and miracle working power!

Mark’s Gospel is a fast-paced account of the Good News of Jesus Christ, and in the opening chapter we find an action-packed ‘explosion’ of life and hope, as Jesus begins his public ministry! Join us as we take a closer look at some vital aspects of this “good news” and consider the implications for us if we’re to experience a ‘gospel explosion’ today...

At the start of the New Year we are reminded of the ‘totality’ of Christ’s finished work - His total forgiveness, total healing, total compassion, total dominion and total restoration. And our response this year is total praise and total commitment - fully enabled by His total empowering!

God is great, He makes us great and we see that the Nativity expresses great joy. This Christmas, we remind ourselves of what we’ve learned together over the past 6 months; and looking ahead declare...'Yule Be Great!’

The Church is a family! As part of that diverse family God gives us spiritual Mothers and Fathers, those whose nature it is to be so, including those in positions of leadership. What is the role and function of those 'Mothers and Fathers'? And why does the Word tell us to submit to them? These and other questions are considered in this message.
