For his next solo release as Tensal, Héctor Sandoval - known to many for his collaborative projects as Exium, Komatssu, and Selección Natural - debuts on BPitch with The New Land Order, a four-track package of intense, minimalist techno.

Functioning as an output for his solo work, Tensal is a project that amalgamates various references into an exploration of tension in electronic music. Built using a combination of strange harmonic dissonances and abstract rhythmic patterns, the tracks are designed to be layered over time to build a tautly wound intensity; DJ tools in the best sense of the word.

With a learned understanding of the ways in which atmospheric surroundings are built within electronic music, and the role that this plays within nightclubs and DJ sets, Tensal uses his solo alias to experiment with a powerful range of sonic structures. He expands:

‘The concept I was thinking about when I made the EP is the timelessness of my influences which are currently running away from mainstream "modern" Techno and are closer to the music I've played as a DJ since I started my career in 1992, things like Acid, EBM, Electro, Techno-Trance or the first Rave music.’

Opening the release is ‘Misandei’, a dose of industrial-leaning techno centred around a cyclical synth line that charges continuously as the drums move in different frameworks around it. Minimalist and expansive in equal measure, it encapsulates the juxtapositions that inform his sonic palette. Following closely behind is ‘Mors Tua’, a frenetic cut driven forward by a dissonant melodic line that teeters on the edge of losing control, just about staying on track. ‘Jugoplastika’ then steps straight into the main room with a frantic blend of surreal vocal loops and heavy distortions, whilst closing track ‘Kodex’ takes an unexpected turn into broken beat territory, driven by cavernous acoustics and euphoric bells.

The New Land Order finds Tensal in total control of his craft, carefully arranging layers of sound to create a powerful dose of tension on the dancefloor.

Bunny Mast (rip bunny) is an easy going producer and DJ currently residing in Kyiv, Ukraine. He dreams of being able to perform and DJ music of all genres while building a home studio and record label with his partner Khimka and their kitten Lucky.

Bunny prides himself in having a taste and library for any genre, but attributes his fascination of electronic music to his discovery of trance and breakbeat at the age of 10. The latter led him to experiment with scratching his Alice Cooper vinyl in an attempt to imitate the likes of DJ Krush. This led to even more wacky experiments such as groove box alarm clocks and hip-hop freestyles during poetry class. Though Bunny experimented with music at a young age it wasn’t until later in life that he would be able to fully realize his dream of being a musician.

Before his music career, Bunny had a career in the visual arts and cinematography. He pursued this career for 7 years while living in NYC. Shortly after, in 2020 he purchased cdjs, technics, a xone 92, and two pieces of production hardware. Quickly, he found himself back in the mind of his 10 year old self who had been inspired by trance and breakbeat so many years ago. He got to work, practicing and honing his skills and then he moved to Kyiv. In Kyiv, Bunny met Khimka, they found Lucky and now they are working diligently to achieve their goals.

Bunny’s current musical achievements include his production work for his project with Khimka called “хто вони”, his guest mixes for Gasoline Radio, and his performances at small local parties. With several years of seasoned experience as a visual artist and a new budding career as a musician, “rip bunny” is certain to surprise you as he mixes his past life with his new one.

Byron Alvarado is a DJ, Producer and one of the representatives of the powerful Industrial Techno sound in Costa Rica.

He has shared the stage with international artists such as Rikhter, Metaraph, Vendex, Common Poetry and Die Arkitekt.

In 2019 he completes the DJLab and Brooklyn Digital Conservatory (NYC) Music Production program, supported by Ableton, Arturia, iZotope and Native Instruments.

In his short career, Byron Alvarado has released on renowned labels such as: NECHTO, PURE HATE 000, VAGUE, WINKED, Denso Records, Set of the Day, Noir Fidelity Records, among others.

In 2021, Byron Alvarado participated in episode #10 of Scary Beautiful, a project developed and supported by the renowned Ukrainian DJ Nastia, with her song Cordón de Plata, a song that is part of the LP series of the NECHTO label NECH016.

In 2022 he had the opportunity to make an official remix for the track ''Julian'' by the Greek producer Die Arkitekt with vocals by Lena Platonos.

His tracks have been supported by artists such as Richie Hawtin, Nastia, Daria Kolosova, Metaraph, Imogen, among others.

His EP called "Mental Breaks” & ‘’Vicios del Alma’’ was released on the HATE LAB techno platform and is currently the best selling EP on the Noir Fidelity Records label on the Beatport platform.

He has been in Spanish Radio Shows such as Who Electronic Radio and also been invited to an international podcast by the following labels: 666666, WINKED, Set of the Day, Oriente B2B Medellín.

He currently works with Melina Blanco and Partícula de Dios in their Hard Techno collective called TMPL, in which they have had the opportunity to have local & international artists in search of strengthening a community of lovers of Hard and Industrial in Costa Rica.
