What does it mean to truly care about the people around us? This message challenges us to examine the gap between what we say we believe and what we actually do about it. Drawing on the parable of the Good Samaritan, we are confronted with a sobering parallel: just as the priest and the Levite walked past a man bleeding on the side of the road, millions of Christians walk past the voting booth every election cycle, leaving real people with real needs unaddressed. The spiritual lesson here is not primarily about politics -- it is about the condition of our hearts. Do we care enough to stop? Do we care enough to act? Scripture makes clear in 1 Corinthians 10:31 that whether we eat, drink, or do anything else, everything we do either glorifies God or falls short of his design. That includes how we steward the civic responsibilities placed in our hands. Faith that does not move us to action is the same faith that kept the priest and the Levite walking. This message invites us to honestly ask ourselves whether our love for people is real enough to show up in the most practical of ways.
