This episode is all about healing. Jesus is the divine healer and healing is integral to our faith. By living in the world and in relationship with other people, we are wounded. It is these wounds that are always at the root of sinful behavior. Healing these wounds helps us return to the original state of optimal spiritual health that God created us to live in.
What is a spiritual wound?
Which relationships are most likely to cause wounds?
How is it that well-meaning parents wound their children?
How to break the spiritual bonds formed between people who commit sin together
How do we wound ourselves?
What do you do when you realize you've been wounded?
What is the main thing that keeps us from total healing?
What if you were wounded by the Church?
“I cut and sever the unholy soul tie formed between me and __ through the sin of ___ in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Happy Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.
We love our Blessed Mother!
Have you ever considered that your relationship with your earthly mother might be affecting the way you think about Mary, your heavenly Mother?
In affirming Mary as the Mother of God, the Church acknowledges that 100% of Jesus' flesh come from Mary. Think about that next time you take communion...

Have you ever thought about how stressed out Joseph and Mary must have been?
The difference between us and them is how they handled that stress.
On this feast day of the Holy Family, what can we learn from Joseph and Mary as parents? How can spending time with them in prayer heal us from the wounds we got from our own imperfect families?

Merry Christmas to all!!
At Christmas, the whole world pauses. The secular world tips their hats to family, gratitude, or winter activities, but for us Catholics, Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
So what does it mean that Jesus was born? And why does it matter? What does Jesus' birth 2000 years ago have to do with our world and our lives today?
The Savior came to save us. Will you let him save you?

For this advent season, Fr. Tim goes back to basics of our faith. We are discussing the story of salvation following the categories in Fr. John Riccardo's book Rescued: Created, Captured, Rescued, Response.
This week is Response.
Now that we've heard the Gospel, in light of all Jesus has done for us, how do we respond?
Hours away from Christmas, Fr. Tim exhorts us to CHOOSE Jesus, the Jesus of the Gospel.
The antidote to eternal death is available to us. Will you choose to take it?

What does it mean to be a practicing Catholic?
Concretely, what does it actually take to live the Catholic faith?
The purpose of human life is to know, love, and serve God so that we can be happy with Him forever in the next life.
He’s designed us to become the version of ourselves that can accomplish this. That version is what we call a “saint.”
A saint is simply the real you. It’s your true self, minus woundedness and evil.
We become saints by actually living our faith. The Living the Faith Series is designed to help us do this concretely in the world.
