Since 2006, I’ve been on a mission to help individuals just like you prosper with purpose. I am the best-selling author of six inspirational books of my own, and I’ve also helped my clients produce works that have generated more than $20M to build and grow their businesses and ministries.

Although writing, publishing and marketing books seems like second nature to me now, it has not always been this way.

I remember the moment I decided to write and self publish my first book. After receiving the inspiration and getting excited about the possibilities, I went into full-blown panic mode because I had NO IDEA what to do next. I spent a whole year paralyzed with the overwhelm and stress of it all before I finally reached out to a mentor for help.

Why did it take me so long to get help? Well…I thought I could do it by myself. After all, I was an attorney with a law degree, a business degree, and lots of success writing for my clients. Unfortunately, all of that experience and expertise didn’t stop the confusion when it came to writing and self publishing my own book.

It took some time for me to figure it out and nowI’d like to keep you from having to go through the same panic and paralysis when you get ready to create and publish YOUR book.

Garnett Kilberg Cohen is the author of four story collections: Cravings (due for release in October 2023); Lost Women, Banished Souls; How We Move the Air; and Swarm to Glory. Her chapbook, Passion Tour, was published by Finishing Line Press. Her writing has appeared in The New Yorker online, Rumpus, The Gettysburg Review, Witness, The Literary Review, StoryQuarterly, The Antioch Review and elsewhere, and she has been the recipient of many awards including a 2022 Curt Johnson award from december magazine, the Crazyhorse National Fiction Prize, The Lawrence Foundation Prize from Michigan Quarterly Review, and four Illinois Arts Council Awards, as well as two Notable Essay citations from Best American Essays. A former fiction editor at The Pennsylvania Review and Hotel Amerika, Garnett has also been an editor at Another Chicago Magazine, The South Loop Review, Punctuate, A Nonfiction Journal, and a guest editor at Fifth Wednesday.

She taught writing at Columbia College Chicago for more than thirty years. She also teaches creative writing workshops at various conferences and organizations, and works as a consultant with individual writers of fiction and nonfiction.

Angela R. Hughes is a historical fantasy author based in Waco, Texas.  It has been her ambition to write stories that grip and inspire the readers, alluring them into myth and legend. 

Angela believes in the power of storytelling, as dynamic and inspiring tales have been told for thousands of years.  She has always been inspired by mythologies and legends of the hero’s quest, and has always loved the idea of creating her own.  She has been particularly drawn to Arthurian legend, and its ancient roots that spanned into the Cymru world.  She has studied Arthurian legend, as well as Celtic Mythology.  While living in Ireland, she fell in love with the history and landscapes of England, Ireland, Wales, and Scotland.
