I started beekeeping a decade ago. The reasons why I started are different from the reasons I would start. Now, if someone asked me how to get started, I try to persuade them not to even think about it. I tell them it's not a good idea. I'm not trying to weed out the people who really aren't dedicated. I just think it's not a hobby for most people. Even so I'd love it.
March is right around the corner and it's a huge planting month in Southern California. Spring has already sprung so it's time to get out there and start planting some seed. Let's see what you can plant in March so you can get your seed plans ready.

You know what time it is, it's the beginning of the month and we're going to review the monthly planting guide for February.
