Living Water Radio: For Today's Christian Life

Summary:  We would probably recognize Jesus if he walked on our streets as he is. He is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit in Baptism and Holy Communion, in service to others and in reading the Bible. We would recognize Jesus because he has been in the midst of us in worship, we have spoken with him in prayer, and we have been given a living relationship with him in faith. We would recognize who he is.

Summary:  We celebrate our national Independence Day on July 4th, the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence from the colonial rule of Great Britain. Christians celebrate their dependence day every day. We are dependent upon God for all things and in our dependence, we receive freedom from sin, death, and from all the forces that defy God. Through God’s sacrifice on the cross and not by our own efforts or strength we receive eternal life that truly is life.

Summary:   Some people are coming out of the pandemic wanting to do something new with their lives. God offers a new life through repentance and forgiveness, through the gift of becoming a new creation, of being born again, and all of it comes because God reinvents us through faith in the gift of Jesus on the cross.

Summary:   We’ve been in a storm for these past 14 months or so, but we haven’t been alone. Jesus has been with us every day of the pandemic. The living relationship with the one true living God that is God’s gift of faith to us stills the storms within. Jesus will always be with us, to the other side.
