Summary:   It doesn’t take a lot of Christians to change the world. It only takes people who open their hearts to receive God’s gift of new life and act in the transformational power of the Holy Spirit, the streams of living water within us, and to be who we have been made to be, like leaven in bread.

Summary:   Streaming video is the means we have become accustomed to for receiving information. Streams bring the water that is necessary for life. The Holy Spirit is described in both the Old and New Testament sections of the Bible as “Streams of Living Water”. It brings understanding and life to those in a spiritual desert, an abundance of something that is otherwise scarce. God gives it freely to all who open their hearts to receive it.

Summary:   “Of” is a small word, but it is cosmic in meaning. We are children of God and heirs of God’s promise. Jesus, the Lamb of God, fully God and fully human being, died to take away our sin. He is  revealed by the Holy Spirit, the streams of living water, within us and draws us together as the Body of Christ, the Church. “Of” means that, by God’s grace, we belong.

Summary   SOLW is an acronym for Streams of Living Water. SLOW is an acronym with the same words but in a different order, reminding us that sometimes we must reexamine the order of things to most clearly know their true meaning. Easter is much more than bunnies. It is the celebration of the pivotal event in human history.
