God's goodness and especially His mercy pervade every area of the lives of His people. As we acknowledge this truth, experience it, and enjoy it everyday- we then ought to give thanks to God.

Because God is our Creator and Redeemer, we have a duty to praise Him. But we also praise Him because He is good, because He is great, and because He alone is worthy to receive our praise.

As we gather together each Lord's Day, we come to worship and bless the Lord our God and in the midst of that time, the Lord is pleased to bestow His rich and gracious blessing upon us.

The Church is the only organization on Earth that is bound together and finds its unity in the perfect love of God through Jesus Christ. The unity of the brotherhood of believers is truly a blessed gift from the Lord.

Though sinful Man is often inconsistent in keeping the promises he makes, we know with all certainty that the Lord is always faithful to keep His promises for the blessing of His people and for His own glory.

True contentment is only found in Jesus Christ as we cast off pride, arrogance, and presumption and humble ourselves before the Lord to trust in Him, His goodness, and His perfect plan.

God has graciously given us a book of songs right in the middle of our Bibles that not only speak of the glorious work of redemption Jesus Christ has secured for us- but as we sing them, we recognize that Jesus himself sings with us and to us so that those hearing might be admonished and edified as God is praised and glorified.

Truth compels us to obedience of God's commands and the commands that we are to obey are to love God and love one another.

The only lasting foundation for peace and unity in the church is the uncompromised truth of the Gospel.

After commending the example of several faithful servants, Paul charges believers to be diligent in doing good works as they rely fully on the abounding grace of God.
