Ready to step into the vibrant world of glitter and glam rock? This episode promises to transport you back to 1974, as we dissect David Bowie's iconic Diamond Dog Tour. We'll navigate through Bowie's struggle with exhaustion, his challenges with public criticism, and his liberating decision to retire the Ziggy Stardust persona - much to the surprise of his band.

But Bowie's story is far from just stardust and spectacle. His lyrics, a heady mix of whimsical and profound, hint at a complex personality beneath the flamboyant exterior. From his 'fascination' with comedy character Frank Spencer to the profound influence of Jimi Hendrix, we'll explore the many facets of this enigmatic star. We'll also shine a spotlight on his classic song 'Changes', comparing his myriad of changing looks over the years to the beloved character 'Mr. Ben'.

If you need any other reason to listen, this episode is capped off with a surprise appearance from Mike Parry. So, if you're as intrigued by the endlessly fascinating figure of David Bowie as we are, buckle up - we're going on a rock'n'roll rollercoaster ride.
