I talk about choosing to let go of unreasonable expectations and bring happiness to the forefront. Winning at a smaller scale is more important and almost always reachable! This shift in the mindset will decrease stress and free up more time for joy. Included in this episode is a discussion on mental health.

Here I get vulnerable. I have taken a break to focus on my Grandma's Garden company. In this time I noticed some new mental health issues arise. I apologize for shitty scheduling of airing podcast episodes. I acknowledge that I need help and ask for it.
Asking for help. Acknowledging the challenge at hand. Then making a plan to move forward. I am here for. Thank you for being here for me.

It's never too late. Planning to add more joy to your life and the lives of others is the topic here. If this season leaves you feeling out of whack, try to connect with a friend you trust and share your struggles.

I discuss the value of having hope and creating a space for hope in your life. The Christmas season can be a challenging time for those grieve the loss of a loved one. I encourage you to use this week to acknowledge the hard feelings. Share them with a friend, or say it out-loud looking in the mirror. And then pick a new task or take an old tradition and put a new spin on it. And let there be hope.

And then dance.
Music can fill my soul and give us hope. Today's song is "Something More", by Sugarland.
I explain the evolution of self around grief and how grief itself never changes.
"Some believe in destiny and some believe in fate. I believe that happiness is something we create."
Giving constantly can leave us feeling depleted. Putting yourself first can seem selfish... but man, it is important!
Damn you imposter syndrome... I won't let you hold me back. I talk about riding the wave of negative thoughts and fighting back!
