As an adolescent, Dawn suffered from 10 years of panic attacks and anxiety. Esther Buerki talks about her writing journey. It all started with a journal and it all started with a lot of fear. She didn’t have good grades at school because she was afraid of sharing her own thoughts. But she dreamt of becoming a writer one day. She didn’t dare to believe in her dream. She became a journalist writing daily newspaper articles while suffering a lot of the fear of being criticized. And there were critics. But she learned how to handle it. The fear of publishing her first children’s book was immense, and her first “baby” got criticized. But she survived and published another one and another one. And the fear of publishing her biography “Living Without Fear” next year is huge, but fear will not prevent her from doing it anyway.
