Martha and Mary had different priorities. Service isn't wrong, but listening is better. Our goal is neither idol or idle worship, but ideal worship in spirit and in truth. The best act of worship is unbridled obedience. Evangelism is the only effective church growth strategy.

We should rejoice in God's great salvation because of -1- the time in which we live and -2- the understanding of salvation that we have.

-1- Trials prove your faith. -2- Trials purify your faith. -3- Loving Christ results in indescribable joy.

Main Points- We must rejoice in our salvation even in trials. -1- Trials are temporary. -2- Trials are necessary. -3- Trials bring grief. -4- Trials are diverse.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the following are true of you- --1- You aren-t home. -2- You are elect.- -3- You are born again. -4- You have an eternal inheritance. -5- You -and your faith- are protected by the power of God.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, -1- you aren't home yet- -2- you are elect.

-1- Knowing the unsearchable riches of Christ. -2- Living the unsearchable riches of Christ.

-1- You were redeemed. -2- You were redeemed from aimless conduct. -3- You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold. -4- You were redeemed with the precious blood of Christ. -5- Jesus Christ is the lamb without blemish and without spot.

-1- The relationship between Christ and His church and believers to one another reveals the idea of membership. -2- The organizational structure Christ applied to His church reveals the idea of membership.

Our church must -1- glorify God, -2- build up His people, and -3- evangelize the lost.
