Melissa came from a family with almost no musical background in a tiny town in Ohio where she couldn't even get piano lessons. So she taught herself. No, really! She taught herself to play starting around age 5. While her interest was a surprise to her parents, they supported her. She pursued music in college, and then at age 25 she purchased a music store in Cumming, GA. 20 years later, the store is thriving with over 600 students and 28 music teachers on staff in 17 studios. She tells her story today on the podcast, including how Music Authority managed to not only survive but to actually thrive during the pandemic lockdown. They even teach music remotely to people around the world via Zoom. The Music Authority website is: http://www.musicauthorityinc.com/ Subscribe and share: https://www.loatoday.net/subscribe
