BASEBALL IS BACK AND LIFE IS GOOD! Season 3 started off with a banger. I made a new intro, some boring but important details on how we got baseball back, we got some crazy last minute adjustments with a signing that broke around midnight and who he was replaced with in on his former team. Here is what to expect on the base paths...
1st Base: The CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) details in some depth
2nd Base: The Matt Olson blockbuster trade and extension to Atlanta
3rd Base: Freddie Freeman's multi-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers
WELCOME TO SEASON 2!
We finally made it back to campus and we're live! This episode focuses on Carson and I catching up with all the offseason signings and trades made between the time we took off and last week's teaser episode. We have some blockbuster deals so make sure to stay tuned all the way to the end!
This is a teaser of the real episode to come next week... WE ARE BACK THOUGH! WELCOME TO SEASON 2!
My friend from home, Jake Ferraro and I went over every sporting event that we have been to together and placed it on the naughty or nice list thanks to Christmas and our other friend Santa Claus. This is a special episode were it's more relaxed and fun!
Well, Season 1 has finally come to an end. In the final episode of Season 1, I went over the Dodgers acquiring Corey Knebel via trade from the Milwaukee Brewers, some of the key players on the non-tendered list released by the MLB this week and then wrapped up the 2020 Seasonal Tier List! Have a wonderful holidays everyone and we'll be back sooner than you think!
We're almost done with Season 1! We have one more division left and I saved it for last on purpose... the AL East. There was a second S tier team too on this episode so make sure to listen up! Carson did not participate, but we will get his updates soon don't worry!
Carson was not on this episode since he is in California at the time I recorded the episode, but I talked about some baseball news over the last week ranging from GM hirings/resignations to qualifying offers being signed to PED suspensions to bad public relations from your manager. So many things have happened since the offseason began and we're just getting started!
We went over all of the AL West and NL East teams and how their shortened 2020 season went in our opinion. We had our first S tier team in this episode and some surprisingly well ranked teams, so make sure to tune in and then send us your reactions!
Carson and I were swamped with schoolwork last week which is why the show is coming up on a Wednesday instead of our typical Monday upload. This episode we discussed the managerial signings of A.J. Hinch going to the Detroit Tigers and Alex Cora going to the Boston Red Sox, the Los Angeles Dodgers receiving NINE positive coronavirus cases two weeks AFTER the World Series, Francisco Lindor and Nolan Arenado trade rumors, and what the Chicago Cubs should do this offseason with Javier Baez, Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Kyle Schwarber being free agents in 2022.
The central divisions in the AL and NL had the most teams make the postseason out of any other division, but none of them made it out of the Wild Card round. This episode, we go over how each of the team's complete season went (regular season + post season) and then rank it on a tier list of S++ being the highest to F-- being the lowest. Welcome to our season finale.
