I've spoke about Local Heroes being all around us but right now, you don't even need to look around. They are right in front of our eyes. This podcast, the very idea of Local Heroes stems from the belief that we can be bigger that who we are. In the midst of despair there's a very special kind of good. We all have a part to play in every situation and even the smallest ripple can create a chain reaction in the community adding a base to rebuild a system that has collapsed. We are the system. We are the messengers of change. We need to be better because you cant fix another broken person while you are shattered.
