Today in Season 2, Episode 12 I interview Brisbane runner, Jaxon Paterson-Wright. Finishing school just three years ago, Jaxon is only 21 this year, but is already showing us his talent at such a young age. He has a PB of 14:57 for the 5,000m and 8:16 for the 3,000m on the track. In January this year, he was 2nd in the QA Norma Croker Shield 800m with a time of 1:55, a week later was first in the Sally Pearson 5000m. In May and June respectively, he won the QUT classic 10k and placed 5th in the Brisbane Marathon 10k.Furthermore, he most recently was 7th at Australia’s fastest parkrun – the Annual BERT 5k championships held at Sandgate 17th June. Anyways, that’s enough of impressing you with his times, it’s time for you to kick back, relax and enjoying hearing from one of Brisbane’s most talented up and coming runners.
