Well that's the end of Season One! Andrew is off on holiday and planning season 2, so here's a show with all our lockdown life lessons and some funny bits and some extra funny new bits all mashed together into a sort of sweet sticky drink made from fruit... wait... OMG THAT'S LEMONADE!!! THAT IS SOOOOO META!!!! Listen to the show, have a break, we'll be back in September!
This week Andrew is talking about life, trains, commuting and 70s supergroup Barclay James Harvest with mathematician and lay preacher Ian Halliday. Ian is Andrew's first Twitter friend - they met at the London Twestival in 2008! Yes, back when Twitter was friendly! Plus, Andrew explains how his high tech F1 mask went so horribly wrong...
This week Andrew interviews his old friend, podcaster and Nordic Walking instructor Mary Tweed for her Lockdown life lesson silver linings. And Mary had a little lamb once too, but that's where it gets weird... Plus Andrew gets into a spot of bother at the opticians.
This week Andrew is chatting to his old friend, comedy writer, blogger and MSc in Artificial Intelligence Glen Long about his life in lockdown, working from home, and why listening to his Google Voice search records makes him sound like a dog serial killer. Also, Andrew explains how to get banned for life from a supermarket...
This week Andrew is excited about the village pub reopening. He's going with his bubble buddy Debbie who is an amazing award winning cake designer and shares her Lockdown life lesson. They are talking about creativity, the end of lockdown hair and whether or not after three months with no pub the whole village will get drunk and descend into an orgy of booze-fuelled violence.
This week Andrew is having a virtual drink with entrepreneur, marketer, early adopter and awesome business guru Lua Cooper talking about Lockdown Dating, her deaf cat, and why it's time we started laughing at ourselves.
This week Andrew accidentally commits an armed robbery in the village post office and catches up with an old writer buddy, the Fantasy and LitRPG novelist G.D. Penman, to discuss their love of fermenting, writing and working from home. And Penman's new anthology of short stories - Catfish Songs - which he's written entirely and published during the lockdown.
This week I've discovered the magical properties of children's laughter... and the legendary TV documentary series director & producer Rob McCabe manages to get me talking about myself and totally out-hosts me! We also talk about an amazing post-lockdown film project I want to be in, and then I beg to be in it. For the rest of the show.
This week Andrew is chatting to hypnotist Benjamin Ryan about his lockdown science experiments with chocolate biscuits, plus Andrew makes a number of rude and disparaging remarks about Norfolk and Norwich for comedy effect, and also because he lives in Suffolk and it's traditional to make jokes about the neighbouring county. He then makes a grovelling apology.
This week Andrew decides memojis are weird and creepy, but is cheered-up by Tracey Wise, NHS nurse and founder of the charity Safe Gigs for Women as she talks about life in London during the Lockdown, taking up knitting, her hip replacement and planning to hit all the music festivals once the Lockdown is over after spending years unable to dance.
