Nobody had this talk with us before we said yes. So today we're having it.
This week Dahlia goes somewhere new: the quiet reason your body won't fully relax even in a good relationship, and the honest talk about protecting yourself that nobody taught us to have. This isn't about planning to fail. It's about a simple truth. A woman who knows she'd be okay is a woman who can love because she wants to, not because she's stuck. For the woman starting over, and for the young one just beginning. Send it to a daughter, a niece, a friend about to say yes.
Not legal advice. Talk to a lawyer in your state.

Have you ever driven home from seeing someone you love and felt more empty than before you went?
In this episode we talk about one of the biggest things driving your Nervous System Survival Score up, and it might not be what you expect. It's the people you're choosing to stay close to right now.
We get into the man who makes you shrink to keep the peace. The friendship that always leaves you drained. And the pattern underneath both that most women never see until someone names it out loud.
Then I walk you through a four question body check-in you can do right where you are, so you can stop asking "do I love them" and start asking the question that actually matters.
Relief is information. It is not betrayal.

You are allowed to choose people who feel like safety. 🖤
You finally get a quiet minute. The kids are down, the house is still, nothing needs you. And your body still won't let you rest.
If that is you, this episode is going to give you a name for it.
In this one I'm introducing something I've been sitting with for weeks: your Nervous System Survival Score. It's a way to actually measure how much of your life your body is spending in survival mode versus how much it gets to feel safe. We talk about why you're tired all day but wired the second your head hits the pillow, why you go from zero to a hundred over something small, and why understanding all of this still hasn't been enough to fix it.
Then I walk you through a short self check, right there as you listen, so you can find your own score. And I promise you this: that number is not who you are. It is not permanent. Personalities don't change, but nervous systems do.
If this episode lands for you, there are two ways to keep going:
The Standing Circle, a weekly community where we practice this work together so you're not doing it alone. Start for $20: https://www.dahliagomez.com/standingcircle
Still Standing, my 12 week program for the deeper work, opening June 15: https://www.dahliagomez.com/stillstanding
You've been strong for so long. Let this be the season your body finally learns it's safe to rest. 🖤
You know the saying — hurt people hurt people. But the saying stops too early. Some hurt people transform that hurt into knowledge, into work, into a life. And when that happens, the ones who tried to break you have to watch the thing they wanted to destroy become something they could never be. In this episode, Dahlia talks about the fork in the road every wounded woman comes to — pass the hurt on, or transform it — and what happens when you choose the harder, rarer path. If someone has ever tried to make you smaller, this episode is the answer.
Mentioned in this episode: Still Standing, a 12-week nervous system healing program for women who didn't break and are ready to put down the weight they've been carrying. Next round opens June 15. Free quiz and full details at www.dahliagomez.com
Have you ever felt like you understand everyone around you — but nobody really understands you? Like you've been through so much, given so much, felt so much — and still can't quite explain why? This episode might be the answer you didn't know you were looking for.
Dahlia gets personal about discovering numerology and what it means to be a Life Path Number 9. She breaks it all the way down — what numerology is, how to calculate your own number in under two minutes, and why the 9 is the most misunderstood number of all. Because a 9 has already lived through every single lesson the other numbers are still learning. We see everyone. We understand everyone. But most people don't know how to understand us — and this episode is about finally changing that.
If you've ever felt like you carry more than most, give more than you receive, and wonder if your time is still coming — it is. You're not behind. You're a late bloomer by design.
Calculate your Life Path Number: Take your birth date and break it into three parts. Reduce each part to a single digit. Then add those three digits together. Example: May 30, 1990

For the woman with an ex who keeps making sure she sees his new life. The trips. The wife. The vacations. The Instagram stories that are too well-timed to be a coincidence. In this episode Dahlia breaks down what's really happening — why his flex is not actually a flex, why the real winner is the quiet one, and how you stop reacting and start truly forgetting he exists. 🖤
This one is personal. Dahlia shares the day her whole vision fell apart — the home, the husband, the children, the life she had been building toward. The moment she was rejected by the person she loved after giving everything she had. The tightness in her chest. The emptiness. And what she built from the wreckage. No framework. No steps. Just the truth. If you've ever given everything and come up empty — this episode is for you. 🖤

Everyone talks about anxiety. Nobody talks about the anger underneath it.
The rage that lives in women's bodies that was never given permission to exist — swallowed since childhood, stored in the body, and disguised as exhaustion, people pleasing, resentment and anxiety.
In this episode Dahlia goes all the way in — where the anger actually goes, what it's really trying to tell you, and real body-based tools to move it through before it takes you out.
This one is going to hit different. 🖤

When was the last time you felt truly rested? Not just slept — truly rested.
In this first episode of Locked In with Dahlia Gomez, we talk about something nobody talks about — why you're exhausted even when you rest. And I promise you, it has nothing to do with how much you sleep.
Dahlia breaks down the difference between tired and depleted, explains what's actually happening in your body when rest doesn't touch the exhaustion, and gives you one tool you can use today.
This episode is for the woman who has been calling herself lazy when really her body has just been running on survival mode for too long.
You are not broken. You are not lazy. You are ready. 🖤
