The Atlanta Braves were able to get a win against the Philadelphia Phillies last night at Citizens Bank Park guaranteeing them a series win against a divisional opponent. The Braves have been on a roll as of late, and it has put the rest of the teams in their division on notice. Jarvis Davis and Tenitra Batiste discussed why the Braves are where they are and the saga that is Freddie Freeman and his agent. Secondly, the Atlanta Hawks have been in the NBA news all summer for good reason. Travis Schlenk was able to complete a deal that puts Dejounte Murray in a Hawks uniform and gives Trae Young another ball-handler to play off of. Jarvis Davis and Tenitra Batiste discussed whether or not the Hawks gave up too much for Murray. Also, they discussed whether or not Schlenk is done making moves. Lastly, Anthony Edwards is a young, budding superstar in the NBA. There is no secret where Edwards is from because he lets it be known on a regular basis. The Atlanta Hawks landed Dejounte Murray in a trade with the San Antonio Spurs. Travis Schlenk has made it very clear that they are "all-in" as far as being a contender in the Eastern conference. Mark Zinno explained that the Hawks have got to figure out how this is going to work with two ball-dominant guards. Plus, Zinno talked about how extending Murray will be a challenge for the Hawks. Secondly, Doug Gottlieb tweeted yesterday that Freddie Freeman’s agent, Casey Close, did not tell Freeman about the Atlanta Braves’ final offer. Now, the Freeman-Close saga is officially a soap opera at this point. Mark Zinno explained how he still lays a lot of the blame on Freeman. Also, Zinno believes that If he truly wanted to be in Atlanta, he would have been. Lastly, the Atlanta Braves defeated the Philadelphia Phillies last night at Citizens Bank Park 4-1. The Braves are 21-5 in June, which is pretty good. Mark Zinno explained that the Braves have some good news on the injury front because Tyler Matzek and Eddie Rosario should be coming off the IL pretty soon.

With the All-Star break approaching, there is one name for the Braves that has to be considered for a slot in the summer classic. Jon Chuckery explained how there is no reason why Kyle Wright shouldn’t represent the National League next month.
