The Atlanta Braves lose to the Washington Nationals, and the NBA play-in tournament is here to stay. Secondly, the Atlanta Hawks defeat the Charlotte Hornets at State Farm Arena 132-103. Trae Young and DeAndre Hunter went off in the third quarter to send the Hornets packing in the second half. With Hunter playing the way he played, the Hawks are a team to be reckoned with. Lastly, it was a star-studded affair in State Farm Arena last night. Rappers like Jay-Z and Nelly were there. The atmosphere really made it feel like a real playoff game. Jarvis and Tenitra cited that the NBA should be pleased with how the play-in games have turned out so far. Also, Dave Roberts pulls Clayton Kershaw, and RIP to Archie Eversole.

The result from tonight’s game might just determine how he is perceived in the national media. Ultimately, the Hawks have about six teams better than them right now, and they will have to figure out how to get better. Secondly, Mel Kiper, of ESPN, in his latest mock draft has the Atlanta Falcons taking a wide receiver. If the Falcons take a wide receiver, that will signal they've learned nothing from the previous regime's failures. Whatever the Falcons do in the draft will tell you what type of team they want to be. Mark Zinno hopes that this regime goes in a much different direction. Lastly, the Atlanta Braves finally bust out the sticks against the Washington Nationals. They do it without Eddie Rosario, who is struggling. They got production from Ozzie Albies at the top of the lineup too. Plus, the Atlanta Hawks are laying five points tonight. The Hawks are going to have a real problem with the Charlotte Hornets in transition.
