The Atlanta Hawks take on the Charlotte Hornets tonight in a play-in tournament game. The stage is set for Trae Young to shine at State Farm Arena. Young has excelled in his career when the lights are shining the brightest. Jon Chuckery believes that the Hawks are set to win at home against the Hornets. Secondly, the Atlanta Falcons have had a need for pass rushers for quite some time. David Ojabo is a prospect who was once projected to go in the first round of the NFL Draft. With his injury, Jon Chuckery believes that Ojabo is a guy that could be available for the Atlanta Falcons in the second round. Lastly, Daniel Snyder, owner of the Washington Commanders, is in the news once again. This time it is for keeping money that was supposed to be a part of revenue sharing with the NFL. Jon Chuckery isn’t buying that he is the only owner that’s doing it.

The Atlanta Hawks failed to meet expectations after their run to the Eastern Conference finals last year. Head coach Nate McMillan may be at the point where some of the blame could be placed at his feet. Even though the Hawks won more games than they did last year, they have the ninth seed and are set to play the Charlotte Hornets in the play-in round. Trae Young, quietly, has had one of his best seasons statistically. For that reason, Jon Chuckery believes that Young should be voted in as an All-NBA player. Secondly, Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks have had their fair share of issues this season. Head coach Nate McMillan has been the type of coach that needs to be held accountable. Owner Tony Ressler will have some serious decisions to make if the Atlanta Hawks fail to play themselves into an actual playoff round. Chuckery thinks that some of that accountability may slide up to general manager Travis Schlenk. Lastly, Chuckery discussed the Atlanta Braves taking a loss to the Washington Nationals. Chuckery is starting to get concerned that the Braves will get off to a slow start. He points out that the Braves are one of the worst run scoring teams in the National League. Chuckery understands that the Braves got off to a slow start last year, but they have a lot of talent, up and down the roster, and they shouldn’t be struggling like this early on.

The Atlanta Falcons have got to stay on track when it comes to the NFL Draft. In a quarterback-driven league, they have to be able to rush the passer. Terry Fontenot, with the eighth overall pick in the first round, has to think about how he wants to rebuild. If he wants a successful rebuild, he has to start up front on the offensive and defensive lines. Secondly, the Atlanta Braves were run out of Truist Park by their division foe, the Washington Nationals, and now they are left scrambling trying to figure out how to get wins early in the season. Brian Snitker has played around with the lineup, specifically at the leadoff spot, and he hasn’t quite found the right combination yet. Lastly, Cam Newton made some interesting comments about how women should be in relationships. Jarvis Davis and Tenitra Batiste discuss whether or not Newton was a little misunderstood. Also, Tenitra explained, very eloquently, how Newton’s upbringing was behind what he said, but it may have come off the wrong way to certain people.

Terry Fontenot and the Atlanta Falcons have to address the quarterback position in this draft. As an organization, that’s the only way they will get back to some respectability. The Falcons can’t be afraid to use the eighth overall pick to take a quarterback as well. The quarterback position is so important that even if they get it wrong, they have to be bold enough to try it again. The Arizona Cardinals is a prime example to keep trying until you get it right. Secondly, Brad Rowland, of Locked On Hawks, joined A to Z, to preview tomorrow night. The Atlanta Hawks, coming into the season, didn't see themselves with the ninth seed, playing against the Charlotte Hornets. In the play-in round, it is a favorable matchup for the Hawks because they will be playing at home. Lastly, the Atlanta Braves made Mark ZInno look like an absolute genius. Eddie Rosario was moved out of the leadoff spot. The leadoff spot is something that needs to be corrected. Zinno isn’t going to hit the panic button yet, but it is worth keeping an eye on early in the season. Plus, handicaps of both NBA games tonight from the betting perspective.

John Collins not being the lineup could loom large, but Young seems to have the formula. Secondly, the Atlanta Braves split the series with the Cincinnati Reds over the weekend. Mark Zinno has been thinking about whether or not Eddie Rosario should be in the leadoff spot. That spot will have to get figured out soon because Matt Olson is scorching hot right now. Plus, there have been a lot of strikeouts by the Braves so far. Lastly, Scott Scheffler won the Masters in spite of not playing that particularly well on Sunday. Mark Zinno just wanted to see more from Scheffler being that he won his first green jacket. Plus, there are a few free agent names out there that could help the Atlanta Falcons.

Arthur Smith and Terry Fontenot have to figure out what positions they need to prioritize in the NFL Draft. The most important position the Atlanta Falcons need to address is pass rusher. The next position they need to address is quarterback. The only way the Falcons will get back to some respectability is to start building up front. With Kaleb McGary likely on his way out, the Falcons will have to look at his eventual replacement. Wide receiver needs to be addressed because Calvin Ridley will probably not be on the roster going forward. Lastly, Gil Brandt and Adam Schefter responded in a very interesting way to the death of Dwayne Haskins. Schefter was the first to report Haskins’ death but mentioned him “struggling” as a player initially. Brandt made some comments about Haskins also, and it didn’t sit well with Jon Chuckery.

Tiger Woods has a good showing in the first round of The Masters. Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks take on the Miami Heat tonight with playoff implications. Josef Martinez is out six to eight weeks with a knee injury. Secondly, Max Fried and the Atlanta Braves get off to a good start, but ultimately fall to the Cincinnati Reds, 6-3. Austin Riley and Spencer Strider were the bright spots for the hometown team, but the offense struggling was too much to overcome for the Braves. Lastly, Steve Wilks and Ray Horton join the Brian Flores’ lawsuit against the NFL. Mike Mularkey stated on a podcast that he was told back in 2016 that he had the job before the Tennessee Titans finished conducting interviews. Paula Patton essentially tells the whole world that she doesn’t know how to fry chicken.

Ronald Acuna Jr. stated that he wasn’t going to miss Freddie Freeman in an interview. The Atlanta Braves surely weren’t all too excited to have to deal with this drama on opening day. Jon Chuckery talked about what Ronald Acuna should do when dealing with the media. Secondly, the Atlanta Falcons has a lot of holes to fill in the NFL Draft. The Falcons have to start with their defensive line. Also, they have to figure out what they want to do with Grady Jarrett. Next, their offensive line has been an issue for quite some time, and they don’t address it in the NFL Draft, the Falcons won’t be able to even sniff the playoffs. Tiger Woods got off to a good start in the Masters yesterday. Jon Chuckery talked about Woods never being a person to show weakness. He most likely downplayed how much of the pain he was going through, and going forward, the weather is going to play a factor going into the weekend.

The Atlanta Braves lost to the Cincinnati Reds last night, and they just couldn’t figure out how to get things going offensively. As far as positives go, Spencer Strider is going to be an amazing weapon for the Braves this season. Secondly, the Atlanta Falcons need to address the quarterback position in the NFL Draft. When rebuilding in today’s NFL, you have to do it around a young quarterback. The Falcons haven’t drafted a quarterback in 10 years, and Mark Zinno hopes this front office changes that. Lastly, Mark Zinno hands out a shovel of wisdom to the NFL for supporting sexual assault awareness month and have failed to address the DeShaun Watson situation. The NFL does not care what you think. Also, a recap of yesterday's round one of the Masters and a preview of round two.
