The Texans traded Cam Akers to the Minnesota Vikings after big-time performances from their top running backs Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce against the New England Patriots. 

Texans defensive lineman Mario Edwards was also suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy, right as Denico Autry returns from a six-game suspension for violating the performance enhancing drugs policy.
