The Tennessee Titans got their second win of the season and YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY ABOUT IT. Cam Ward was not a disaster in this game like people are pretending and a lot of young players played well. Not only that, but two wins won't prevent the Titans from getting a good player in the draft and doesn't ruin their chance at the number one pick either. Again, we saw some really good performances from critical players that should have fans excited. The Browns have some talent despite their record and seeing guys start to play better is a good sign. Part of winning is getting better, not worse. Finally, it is still fair to worry about the draft pick and the Titans got a mixed bag of results in that regard including their win. They will need some help down the stretch to recapture the top spot.

The Tennessee Titans have been presented a winnable game, in theory, when they take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 14, but Cam Ward is being presented with his greatest nightmare. Ward has struggled against man coverage this season and Cleveland plays it about as much or more than anyone else. Add in Myles Garrett, Ward could be dealing with a deadly combination. Ward will need help from offensive tackle Dan Moore who has been up and down this year and some help from Chimere Dike, the only receiver he can trust against man coverage. On defense, the Titans will need Jeffery Simmons, Arden Key and a bounce back performance from Kevin Winston to slow the Browns run game and attack Shedeur Sanders. Speaking of Sanders, he has struggled early and playing zone coverage to confuse him should give the Titans a chance to win. Ultimately, the Browns defense is the only good unit in the game though and is the reason Tyler thinks the Browns can pull this off in a low-scoring battle.

The Tennessee Titans face the Cleveland Browns and the quarterback battle between Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders will be the primary talking point. The reality is both young passers have had their struggles in less than ideal environments, but whoever wins this game will win the war of public opinion no matter what happens. The Tennessee Titans biggest to-do this offseason will be hiring a new head coach and with calls for new leadership from the locker room, hiring someone who fits that bill will be more important than ever. The Tennessee Titans have a massive leadership issue and while most could tell you that already, the issue was spotlighted in a major way by the Titans top players after their embarrassing loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Tennessee Titans got STOMPED by the Jacksonville Jaguars and reminded us all of how bad the team still is even after some inspired play the last two weeks. Terrible coaching, bad penalties, young players like Cam Ward and JC Latham struggling. This one had about everything terrible you could expect from this team and ruined any goodwill they had built. While many struggled, the struggles are not all equal, like with Ward. Ward is a young QB and his growth will not be linear. A specific schematic change made things tougher on Ward as well. However, for a player like JC Latham, struggling the way he is in his second season, it is fair to start to be concerned. After this reminder, it is time to look full force at the tank ahead and next week against the Cleveland Browns is a massive game.

The Tennessee Titans have been playing better football as of late and they seem like they are on the cusp of actually cashing that in for a win this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Divisional games are always interesting and these two teams always seem to have close games. The issue is a win may actually not be the best thing for the Titans and it could hurt their situation. However, to get that win the path is clear, the Titans need to stop the run and force Trevor Lawrence to turnover the ball like he has all season. If the Titans can do that and Cam Ward can continue his recent momentum, then the Titans are primed for the win they have been seeking.

The Tennessee Titans face the Jacksonville Jaguars for the first time in 2025 and it comes at a time when the Titans aren't winning games, but are playing their most competitive football of the year. The Tennessee Titans are having a rough season, but there is a path to contention by 2027 that is possible if you BELIEVE things can turn around for this franchise. The hope obviously starts with Cam Ward, who has been inspiring the last few weeks along with some of his teammates who can help build things up. Not only that, but there should be some faith in Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi and his ability to draft a team. However, Borgonzi will be judged by the head coaching hire he makes and that is the single most important decision facing this team. Mike McCarthy, Robert Saleh and some potentially to-be-fired options make a ton of sense. Then, the focus will be on how to attack the player acquisition period and the Titans have clear needs to address in the next couple of drafts, but a trade back this year would jump start the entire process. That process can lead to a contending team in 2027 with the potential to be debuting a new stadium and new jerseys. It is a future all Titans fans should be hoping for and at this very moment, it is not impossible.
