Locked On Titans - Daily Podcast On The Tennessee Titans

With the Tennessee Titans schedule dropping this week it is time to wonder what they should be hoping to see on the list. First, a week one matchup with the Cleveland Browns at home would be an ideal start. This gives the Titans an interesting, but winnable matchup and starts them in Nashville. Finishing the season at home against Jacksonville or Indianapolis would also be the perfect way to end the year. The Titans could also use a primetime game this season and an AFC South matchup or a big game in the big apple against the New York Giants would work. Finally, there are certain teams on the schedule that would be better off at the beginning or the end of the schedule and Tyler makes his picks.

The Tennessee Titans will see their 2026 schedule released this week and while it is hard to predict what the schedule could bring, the hope is there is one primetime game listed. Between the new jerseys, new players and excitement centered around Cam Ward, the Titans have the hype to get one game this year after missing out last season. Not only that, but the AFC South is a good division with competitive teams making it easier for the NFL to get the Titans one primetime matchup against one of their rivals. The spice factor is high enough to make it worth it for the league.

The Tennessee Titans are about to enter their summer practice schedule with a full 91-man roster, but that will eventually be trimmed down to the final 53. Now is the perfect time for some ROSTER PREDICTIONS before everything kicks off. The math is particularly hard on the offensive side of the ball where wide receiver and offensive line are up in the air. Players like Xavier Restrepo and Bryce Oliver could be odd men out. On Defense, there simply aren't enough roster locks at multiple positions and this will make battles all over the depth chart.

The Tennessee Titans fired Mike Vrabel as their head coach years ago, but his time there is under fire due to an off-the-field scandal that is  currently dominating the headlines. If Vrabel was still the coach of the Titans, this would be a lot worse and in some ways, that makes this a major moment of relief for the team. However, the reality is, the Titans still royally messed up their process that included firing Vrabel. The hires of Ran Carthon and Brian Callahan were disasters and after Chad Brinker's exit, it is fair to say the setup they used was also a waste. Luckily, the Titans are now back on track with Mike Borgonzi at the helm, but Vrabel's current predicament doesn't change the fact his ousting was part of a series of errors for this franchise. The Tennessee Titans got their deal done with Carnell Tate this weekend in a move that wasn't surprising, but is still welcome as it avoids any unnecessary talking points or drama following the Titans. Having a peaceful offseason that is all about the work is exactly what the doctored ordered at this point after fireworks during the offseason. This will set Tate up for a massive season that could have him in line for a rookie of the year award. Cam Ward would certainly have to have a good season for Tate to accomplish that, but the statistical projections for Ward are not exactly good enough from ESPN's Mike Clay. However, the projections for the Titans' top trio at receiver with Tate, Calvin Ridley and Wan'Dale Robinson all look pretty encouraging. Finally, the Titans again need to focus on getting to work as the rest of the summer schedule arrives. Organized team activities, mandatory mini-camp and training camp lie ahead with games happening before you know it. Each step is critical as the Titans try to shock the world this season.

The trenches are officially a battleground. With Kevin Zeitler and Lloyd Cushenberry gone, the Titans are left with massive holes at Center and Right Guard. Is an open competition the right move, or a recipe for disaster for Cam Ward’s crucial second season? We’re breaking down the risks in today's episode.

The Tennessee Titans have done a lot to upgrade their roster, but things are certainly not complete. Especially in the secondary where the Titans still have big questions. Kenny Moore was just released by the Indianapolis Colts and he would be a fantastic pickup for a number of reasons. While the Titans have publicly been hyping Marcus Harris in the nickel spot, Moore makes a lot more sense, no pun intended. Finally, the NFL announced that the official schedule release date will be 5/14/26. The Titans have a very interesting list of opponents so seeing how they are slotted will be extremely interesting.

The Tennessee Titans made a lot of upgrades this offseason, but not everything is in a great place and there are some obvious reasons why this season could go poorly. One of the big things to watch that seems to have gone quiet is the defensive secondary. While the Titans added talent at corner, safety and slot are still major question marks and it could negate the defensive line's advantage. A much more obvious concern everyone is worried about is the offensive line. However, the pessimism does not mean it is impossible for the group to get it together and perform well. Finally, the biggest thing that could be standing in the way of the Titans having a good season is the schedule. The Titans have a pretty tough group to face in 2026 and it could be as simple as that.

The Tennessee Titans could always use more talent and there is no doubt Stefon Diggs is a talented player. There is also the connection to Brian Daboll from their time in Buffalo with the Bills, but if Mike Borgonzi is really stuck on having a proper culture in the locker room, adding Diggs just doesn't make sense. Whether Diggs was guilty or innocent isn't as important as the fact that he simple creates non-stop distractions with his off-field activities. It would be quite a stray off the path for the Titans to add the veteran wide receiver.
