  • Yume o Shinjite / 夢を信じて
This is my second VOCALOID song, it is a techno cover of "Yume o Shinjite" by Hideaki Tokunaga of the animation version Dragon Quest's ending theme.
Up to now I have created vocal tracks and songs separately, but this time it became possible to edit simultaneously with the Vocaloid Editor for Cubase, making adjustment easier.
Even so, the techno in the early 90's was about to squeeze hi-hat close with 16 beats like this.
For the moment for the future I would like to make vocaloid songs mainly cover songs.

  • Links, Legacy
This song is self-cover of Links, it is the drum base that I made all my own from the rhythm pattern for the first time.
When I bought Cubase a drum set like Amen break was attached. So I thought that I could finally make a full-bodied Drum'n Base. Well, I got tired of half a year.

I completely missed the timing to release "Illusion," the theme song from Final Fantasy X's Farplane.
I started creating this song around the same time I made the arrangement for Besaid Island (maybe 2003), but I gave up because I couldn't transcribe the B section by ear. Then, 10 years later, I tried again, using the same tools I used for transcribing music in Mabinogi. However, I still couldn't read the B section, so the bass in particular sounds unnatural. I added the guitar riff around this time, but I realized it was a fake score when I was making Links, recorded obvilion, so it was shelved. (There are other songs with similar issues.)
I decided to just release it. In the end, it took about 15 years from the start of creation to release.
Even so, I wonder if anyone remembers this music from FF10? I think it was included as background music on the developer interview DVD that came with the first-edition PS2 version.

Since the original MIDI data was lost, I extracted it from a video uploaded to YouTube and remastered it.

  • Temple In Haze
Songs made by cutting melodies from Links. The original music file was broken and took time to restore.
