Lonely Drivers Driving Club

Episode 61 - This week we’re joined by Callan – powerlifting coach, national athlete, and all-around good bloke. We dive into his recent competition, training goals, and what it’s really like competing on the big stage in Japan.

But it wouldn’t be LDDC without some detours: drifting plans for Japan, Demon Slayer movie hype, workshop banter, energy drink mountains, and even Sam’s fresh haircut. 💈🚗⚡

Callan also gets real about self-esteem, motivation, and moving up weight classes—dropping insights on what it takes to push past limits in (and out of) the gym.

Whether you’re into lifting heavy, sliding cars, or just good laughs with mates - don't miss this one!

Episode 60 - For the first time ever, we’ve got two guests in the studio at once – and things get out of hand fast. From LS swaps, wet drifting and passenger ride thrills to anime, game nostalgia, sharks in the river, and questionable life advice… nothing is off limits.

Expect car talk, big laughs, random tangents, and a few “did they really just say that?” moments.

P.s. Justin and I were sharing a mic to make this happen so apologies if some of the audio is softer than usual.

Kicking off with a life catch-up and his return to work alongside Justin, we dive into everything from mental health struggles and the importance of “real” friendships to anime reviews and the latest updates on Sam’s S13.

Things get personal as we reflect on shared memories from primary school, childhood bullying, and the unlearning required to grow as adults. Sam opens up about mental health, while Justin drops DBZ hot takes and gives us the latest on his BMW.

Whether you’re here for the laughs, the car talk, or the raw reflections—this episode has something for everyone.

Episode 57 -   In this episode, it’s just Justin and I back behind the mics for a classic throwback-style catch-up. From new jobs and late-night cruises to D1WA drift re-caps and F1 hot takes (yes, even Justin gives Lewis Hamilton some love), we dive into everything from car culture to personal growth.

We also cover anime updates, Saturday night antics, neighbour drama, and the eternal Mac vs PC debate—with a splash of dark humour and the usual banter. On a deeper note, the conversation shifts to topics like addiction, politics, parenting, and what it means to be a “good” person in today’s world. There’s even a nostalgic shout to Round the Twist and some real talk about the shortcomings of the education system.

If you’re here for the laughs, the rants, and the kind of convos that happen when the mics are hot — this one’s for you.

🔥 Grab your headphones, let’s roll.
