From the Futures Game, to the MLB Draft to the red carpet to the Home Run Derby, and finally landing on the All-Star Game, it was truly a good time. We saw Vlad Jr. win the derby, then the next day the improbable hero Elias Diaz took home MVP honors... but before all that was the MLB Draft. Nevertheless, the boys give their predictions of the upcoming game. Even more so than the game, the boys are hella excited for the Home Run Derby. They breakdown this year's participants and reveal their predictions for this as well. Domingo German became a part of history last week by pitching a perfect game-- the 24th ever to do so. They go into how perfect games are for the no-namers of the sport-- the unexpected. And it wouldn't be an All-Star tradition if they didn't give their All-Star selections. On this week's episode of Long Gone, the boys talk LSU's championship run in the College World Series. Led by future top-three draft picks Dylan Crews and Paul Skenes, this series has shown that college baseball is more pure than college football and basketball. The Cardinals and Cubs kicked off their rival series in London last week. While the Cubs won the series, it's tough to think how better these games would've been if the teams were actually good.
