As a Baby Boomer, I point out that it was those who became rich who did the damage.
And we did greatly weaken White Racism and Male Chauvinism, even if some of us took time to meet modern standards. Those standards would not be mainstream without us.

All human systems interfere with freedom, if you take a straightforward definition of ‘freedom’ as being ‘things that someone somewhere might want to do.
What it usually means is my freedoms, and probably also the freedom that I think others are entitled to.
There is also usually an acceptance that some normal freedoms may need to be curbed for various emergencies.
