On todays episode of Long Story Short, Vicky sits down with Justin Caffrey.
Justin is a certified Health & Wellness coach and is one of Europe's leading minds in resilience, leadership, business strategy, radical transparency, psychological safety and practical neuroscience. He holds a Master's in Psychological Interventions using Neuroscience and Mindfulness and is one of the few Westerners to have endured a week-long training with monks in the remote mountains of Northern Japan.
On today’s podcast, Justin shares with us his advice on leaning in to facing life’s challenges as well as how his highly driven personality & successful career was a way for him to avoid grieving the loss of his son Joshua for many years.
This eventually led to him having a panic attack during a business meeting. This was the moment Justin decided to take action by asking for help with his mental health.
So despite this being a very tragic topic, Justin describes his son’s death as somewhat of a blessing as this made him realize the importance of slowing down and living in the present moment.
Justin’s story is really inspiring and I hope you enjoy listening as much as I did chatting.
