Isabelle Egilsson is a kinesiology student and aspiring strength & conditioning coach, whose life story is a testament to dedication, resilience, and personal growth. Isabelle’s journey began in the world of cheerleading, a sport that has profoundly shaped her identity. For 12 years, cheerleading was not just an activity but a significant part of her life. This dedication led her to compete at the esteemed Worlds in Orlando, Florida, twice—a testament to her skill and commitment. Although she has retired as an athlete, Isabelle's passion for cheerleading continues to burn brightly as she now channels her energy into coaching. This year, she will be coaching three teams, sharing her expertise and inspiring the next generation of cheerleaders.

Isabelle naturally took on a leadership role from a young age. Recently, she took a significant step towards independence by moving out of her parents' house. Balancing her responsibilities, she has been working as a bartender and server for the past three years, all while pursuing her education. This juggling act showcases her ability to manage time and responsibilities effectively, a skill that is crucial given her packed schedule.

Fitness has been a pivotal aspect of Isabelle's life since she was 16. It began as a journey to build confidence and evolved into a foundational element of her relationship with herself. At 18, she pushed her limits by competing in a bodybuilding competition. Although she humorously remarks that she would never do it again, the experience was a significant milestone in her fitness journey. Over the years, her relationship with fitness has seen its ups and downs, but it has ultimately become a therapeutic and enjoyable part of her life.

During the pandemic, Isabelle faced a challenging period of aimlessness and excessive partying, which led to a profound moment of self-reflection. The isolation forced her to confront the loop she was stuck in, prompting a reevaluation of her goals and priorities. This introspective journey was guided by the philosophy of Memento Mori, a reminder that life is fleeting and must be lived with purpose and meaning. This shift in perspective was a turning point, helping her to realign her life with her values and ambitions.
