Longbox Heroes

After discussing the DJs on the local top 40 station, Todd tells a tale of his terrible experience seeing War of the Planet of the Apes this past weekend. And the grand reveal of next week’s Gallifrey Birds VII. One has clowns, guess which?

Another light week as still everything is being saved for this weekend in San Diego. So what do we got for ya? Well, brief discussions of Stranger Things 2 but a lengthy talk about the new lady Doctor Who. Done in a very serious manner. Then, it’s all light and breezy as we talk what […]

After a brief discussion of tasteful portayals of sterotypes in professional wrestling, Todd and Joe discuss the latest in an ongoing saga in the world of professional wrestling and Todd’s future ex-wife. Please note, this was recorded three days ago, so some of the particulars may have changed, hopefully not for the very worst. Lastly, […]

Light on news as it seems as though people are waiting until next week…for some reason. But, there are two DC/Archie crossovers in the hopper, one longer than the other. And Todd & Joe crack the code of the Marvel Legacy renumbering. What we read last week, what we’re looking forward to this week, Todd […]

How was your Fourth of July? We still talk about that three days later right? How far does Joe push his Larry Fine joke? Shorter than he would have liked! And how is Todd gonna help get Joe’s life back on track? All this and maybe one more thing? Who knows!

More discussion about Marvel Legacy, including secret books and is the new numbering correct (it’s not), discussion of the third installment of DC’s crossover with KFC and con cancellations. Also, what we read last week, what we’re looking forward to this week, Todd & Joe Have Issues talking Jonah Hex #26 and (not brief) discussion of […]

Turd men! Lady rompers! Laser beams! VINES! Old men in diapers! Of course, it’s Doctor Who and it punishes Joe to no end. Todd, however, is starting to become a workrate mark as he discusses WWF In Your House Canadian Stampede featuring super corner persons and Owen Hart being awesome!

This September, a comic company is relaunching their entire line with 52 books! Not a headline from 2011. Also, Todd and Joe are snubbed again when it comes to awards and award shows. More free digital comics than you could shake a stick at, what we read last week, what we’re looking forward to this […]

The announcement of next week’s Gallifrey Birds VI Chris Bryan, Chandler Biggins of AIW fame passed away this past week and Joe discusses this.

This week, we talk a sampling of the books for 2017 Comic HalloweenFest and giving credit where credit is due. Also, we learn that never being reprinted again is this October and Joe is delighted at the discovery of a full blank comic! And double Wonder Woman news, one that brings back memories of a […]
