Longbox Heroes

For real, I did the math, if you count all the non-After Dark episodes, this is our 300th episode. Bully for us! Nothing has changed. The big cons are still tough to get into. Marvel is still killing characters but possibly not. One of the original indie comics that ended in 2004 is back. All […]

New phones, new Twitter scams and new champs.

What a show this week. We talk the 20th anniversary of the Clone Saga and what sort of cache that name carries. DC cheaping out on Halloween Comic Fest. Then things take a turn. I forget who write what books, I get confused on what characters are doing what on certain shows. I try, I […]

Leonard saw Ringo Starr. Todd’s not going to see AC/DC. And other things

More Comics Headed to TV! More Midnight Sales! More Deaths for the Sake of Sales! Less People Selling Stuff That’s Not There’s at Cons! Two Bounties at Conventions this Weekend! All this, what we read last week, what we’re looking forward to this week and discussion of the most recent episodes of Cinemax’s Outcast and AMC’s Preacher. Links […]

A couple get poor slow schemes are discussed and adventures in lawn care.

A light week of news means we’re extra giddy. We discuss the history of actors to play Superboy, what super villain has the best muffin recipe and if they should be called the In-BOO-mans instead. Also, we talk about what we read last week, what we’re looking forward to this week as well as the […]

So, Captain America said two words last week and nothing happened, right? No, of course people over-reacted and we talk about past stories that remained in tact since the 15-20 years since they were told. Also, Marvel has some weird marketing strategies and we try to figure them out to no avail (spoilers). And after […]

A more meandering episode than usual as Leonard reads Todd’s tweets, lament about inability to find a good shoe and rank the Jell-O flavors for no good reason.
