In Daniel 8, God gives Daniel a vision regarding the transition of world power from the East to the West including a king that foreshadows the antichrist.

Christians aren't saved to stagnate, but to grow. Growing up in Jesus means being conformed to the imaged of Christ. Doing so allows us to experience God's will and blessings as well as miss out on the consequences of sin.

Plenty of people surrounding Jesus' birth can testify that life is better with Jesus in it.

Daniel's vision foretold the Roman empire as well as its future revival under the Antichrist that will be put down by Christ at his second coming.
