The messenger brought the message, but how would the multitude respond. John the Baptist saw several different responses which people today still have when confronted with the truth of God's Word. How do you respond?

All of Nebuchadnezzar's advisors were of no help, but one man who walked with God was able to tell him what he needed to know.

John the Baptist was effective in preparing the way for Jesus. His example gives us a great pattern as we look toward Jesus' return.

In this lesson, we see that God is in control even when it seems the bad guys are winning and that Babylon still wants to corrupt God's people.

When we remain faithful to God, we can see the works he desires to produce in our lives. Many may quit or reject him, but we will never regret remaining faithful in the end.

Paul has already given Timothy many reasons to remain faithful, now he tells him how.

Though this world and Satan try their best to get us to quit, God can use their opposition to strengthen our resolve and keep us going.

In this lesson, we trace from the Church of England's beginning through the various groups that sprang up from them.

Unmet expectations and unexpected circumstances can cause us to waver, but if we know Him and trust Him, we can stay the course.
