When Paul was confronted with death, his main concern was that Timothy and others not be swayed from the faith either by his death or coming persecution. His words are a challenge to us to find our strength in Christ not circumstances.

As Nehemiah challenged the captives that returned to meet the work before them, we as Christians have a work to do and we must rise to the task.

Though Catholocism claims its origins in Christ and his apostles, in this study, we find that their views on God, His Word, and Salvation is not compatible with the Bible.

Paul's advice to Timothy still holds true for us. We need to hold fast to the faith and live in light of eternity because we serve a great God.

In a world that measures everything by visible or monetary success, it's tempting to get out eyes off Jesus to pursue earthly and temporal riches. As Christians, we must remember that Jesus'approval is what matters, and the treasures we lay up in Heaven will last long after this world is gone.

After Nehemiah surrendered to God's service, God led him and helped him the entire way. The journey had its share of difficulties, but Nehemiah didn't quit and was able to see God do something miraculous. He can do the same in our lives today.
