We are joined by the powerhouse duo, Liz and Lee of Hilliard Studio Method, and let me tell you, this episode is as inspiring as it is juicy. We are SO thankful to Liz and Lee for sitting down with us and opening up as much as they did.
From the beginning, Liz shares how she started the business by crafting a bride-ready workout routine for her daughter, growing into the award winning go-to boutique fitness studio in Charlotte, NC.
Beyond fitness, Liz and Lee candidly discuss their own romantic relationship and embracing new possibilities in life. Their vulnerability in sharing their story of discovering their sexuality later in life and how they survived the rumor mill is awe-inspiring. We talk sex, owning who you are, and calling yourself out on your own bullshit.

We sat down with the hair-cutting wizard, Dhiran Mistry of The Carriage House in Charlotte, NC, and chatted all about his lifelong career in hairstyling. Dhiran is one of the most well-respected and highly regarded hairstylists in the industry, and he shares so much knowledge in this episode. We walk through his well-seasoned career (over 20 years of cutting hair!): working for a salon vs. working on your own, making the big move from NYC, and opening his own salon in Charlotte. This is a perfect listen for any entrepreneur, hairstylist, or, honestly, anyone about to make a big move out of a city.

HAPPY PRIDE!!! We had our favorite two gay men on the show, and they served us a LESSON in LGBTQ words and phrases that left us all in a heap of laughter. Fair warning—this episode is NSFW and extremely inappropriate (albeit in the best way), but just giving a heads-up for anyone without a good sense of humor (gay or straight). We adore you all and are so happy to celebrate any and all kinds of love!

Another episode for our Swifties :) WE'RE HEADED TO THE EUROPEAN ERAS TOUR!!! We truly can't believe how lucky we are to see the Eras Tour for a second time. We had a blast talking all about how it came to be. Spoiler: Char's sister was surprised with tickets from her husband, and it's the sweetest story. Charisse gives an apology to Nicholas Galitzine for incorrectly discussing his sexuality for the better part of a year, and we announce our next BookLove book club pick!

This is such a special episode and we are so appreciative to Lauren for coming on and sharing her heartfelt story with us. We sat down with Lauren Flack, the inspiring founder of Channing's Joy. As a wife and mom of three, Lauren opens up about her journey following her firstborn's diagnosis with autism spectrum disorder. Since founding the Channing's Joy Foundation in 2022, Lauren has dedicated herself to raising awareness and providing support for families like hers. She shares candidly about the challenges and triumphs of navigating therapies and raising an autistic child in today's world. Lauren's raw and vulnerable recounting also addresses the misconceptions surrounding autism, emphasizing that while it may be different from what she initially expected, it is not something to be afraid of, but simply a different path of joy and growth.
