For this explainer video, with worked with the very talented Drew Pocza to help with the illustrations. It was a different experience working with someone else that wasn’t involved in the animation to help with the artwork. Being about doughnut this project was very close to us and we spend a lot of imd making sure every sprinkle was just right and that all those fun chewing animation were as realistic as possible. In this LooseKeys project recap, Brad Chmielewski is joined via Skype by Matthew Sienzant to talk about designing and animating the two videos for Canvas On Demand. Since this project was done remotely, Brad and Matt talk about some of the tips they used to make sure the styles matched and all the files played nicely together. They also chat about using shape layers versus solids and some of the reasons and benefits for them.
