This week, The Doc breaks down WWE's last PPV of the year.  Typically finding TLC to be a dependably good watch on a yearly basis, he is reasonably excited for Sunday's event.  Roman Reigns against Sheamus is a match, for instance, that Doc feels has the ability to be quite dynamic in its execution; both guys are talented workers with a knack for maximizing their in-ring opportunities.  Will the booking, however, be strong enough to allow them to succeed to the highest level of their capabilities?  Also, Doc smells a title change...

It's Capital Combat: Return of the Robocop. Should history remember this as the night that WCW leapt out of its NWA shape and jumped the shark in the process? Whether it's Sid in a tux, the debut of El Gigante, or Robocop saving Sting from a cage, WCW is shedding the "We Wrestle Here" mantra of the NWA for a new Turner-based production. The main event, which features a legitimately injured Lex Luger, only lasts 17 minutes, another move away from traditional NWA custom. This match also centers, not on wrestling, but on out-of-the-ring drama.

What, if anything, did WCW owe a three-year feud between Luger and Flair? What did the company leave behind in leaving Luger's quest unfulfilled? With a remaining year that will feature a rising Sid and the Black Scorpion, is Capital Combat: Rise of the Robocop the night when WCW broke from its NWA tradition?
