Lorekeepers - A Worldbuilding Podcast

In Illuvium, even the light eschews reason.

Beyond the Materium, there are two realms, inextricably linked; one a mirror to the real, the other a shadow of that mirror. This wek, we submerge ourselves in the hyperflorescence of the strange and discover how the fey busy themselves over their long millennia.

Welcome to the dark.

In Halûme, there are two planes, inextricably linked; one a mirror to the real, the other a shadow of that mirror. This week, we peer deep into that shadow to see what rises to meet us.

This week the two of us explore an oft-overlooked consequence of a D&D-inspired world: cantrips! How do tiny spells like "move earth," "shape water," and "guidance" shape society? We dive into it this week!
Check out the aforementioned reddit post about cantrips here! (thanks to Dracomortua)

This week on Lorekeepers we roll the ol' bones and randomly decide on a god to explore. Who is Exaban? How do they interact with their followers? And what makes them a big big nerd?

Thanks for listening this week. We'll be back with another dive into Halûme. Until then, there are always more stories to tell!

This week the lorekeepers turn their focus towards the written word. How literate is the average folk? What is a library like? Is information shared freely or guarded jealously? We dive into these questions and more.

By the time this is uploaded you may have noticed that we've changed the Lorekeepers artwork slightly. Let us know what you think of it! And finally, we are currently focused on getting our site up and running, and we'll let you know the moment that it's live.

Until then, there are always more stories to tell!

This week's episode is all about elves: high elves, aquatic elves, sanguine elves, tough elves, sissy elves, elves who climb on rocks... we explore the depth of their histories and settle our focus on the anchor point of Aevum Quintus.

Carter drops some mad worldbuilding in the latter half, so if you've got questions about where slyph (half-elves) come into the picture, he'll tell you all about it. Speaking of, all credit to the musical scoring goes to Josh Silker, who also wrote Land of Heroes our opening song.

We've gotten some questions about the WorldAnvil website, and we are happy to tell you that it is on its way! There is a substantial amount of content to migrate from a thousand different hastily-scribbled notes, so it will be a little while yet before we will be ready to release.

Until then, there are always more stories to tell!
