Chiasms | I am statements in John | Reading the Bible better

153 - Hello friends, it's Lori here and I am back with sharing another video of chapter books that my 9 year old read this past school year for her 3rd grade. I am sharing 11 books and some who huge hits while a few didn't really excite her to read. My daughter is a strong reader who doesn't always like to read so finding good quality books that get her to read has been a priority for me as her mom. I have found some great books that she really enjoyed reading. You will see I did a mix of some easier level books for her to read with some more challenging books.

Do you have any good chapter book ideas for 9-10 year olds? Please share with me.If you are new, hi I am Lori and I have 2 daughters. I just finished our second year homeschooling and getting ready for our 3rd year. My daughters at the time of this video were in 2nd and 3rd grade. We are doing Classical Conversations for our second year as our main curriculum and it's my first year being a CC tutor. I supplement with math, reading and writing. Enjoy the video and make sure to check out more of my homeschool videos. Thanks for watching. xo Lori

152 - I am sharing in today's video the books my 2nd grader read last year and highly recommend. Come see what books my daughter could not put down. These books are great book series to introduce your child into chapter books.

I am sharing in today's video how I decided to leave All About Spelling program and try some new spelling programs. A few weeks into our second homeschool year and I realized this whole spelling thing wasn't working anymore. I am not sure if spelling can be fun to learn or not, but so far these new programs are helping my girls like it. Do you have any good spelling program ideas? Please share over at Instagram.

I am sharing in today's video one resource that I have decided to add to my oldest daughters curriculum to help with her prepping for Essentials. With Classical Conversations, when you child gets to fourth grade you will also do Essentials. I have decided to add in an English program to help prepare my daughter for Essentials next year. So far we are really enjoying this new resource. I hope it blesses you.
