Lori and Michelle Podcast

134 - This video was originally shared on June 8, 2023.

In today's video I am sharing my thoughts on how did our first year of homeschooling go? Did I like it? Did my kids like it? Do I plan on doing it again next year? What are my plans with Classical Conversations?

I also share some things that didn't work for us and no longer using. Make sure to follow on Instagram for more and can message me there with questions.

133 - This video was originally shared on Feb 28, 2023. Lori sharing her homeschool journey, including last school year, which was her first year homeschooling. So the next few will be from that year, then we will get to the current year. Thanks for understanding.

I am sharing my thoughts on why I decided to make the big switch in math curriculums. Why did I stop Good and the Beautiful? Why did I decide on MATH-U-SEE? Are we liking the new math curriculum? How are things going with it? In today's video I go over all this and more! I pretty much was so curious about what another math program would be like and see how my girls did with it.

I am sharing my thoughts half-way through our first year of doing Classical Conversations. Are we liking CC? How are things going with it? We use CC as our main spine for what we do and have a few things I add on to it like math, reading and handwriting.

I don't have an entire room dedicated to homeschool my daughters. And today I hope that my video shows you that you don't need to have a huge space to do it. Right now I do our homeschooling right at our kitchen table and use rolling carts to organize everything! Homeschool carts are a great option if you don't have a homeschool room or like to have things easy to move around. Come check out our homeschool carts!

In this video I share what is in my rolling carts for homeschool and how I organized it all. I love my rolling carts and the kids love them too.

Hey friends it is Lori here, in today's video I am sharing with you how I set up my binders for my girls for their All About Reading program and All About Spelling. I also share in this video how I am liking All About Reading and my girls talk about if they like it or not. I love this concept of putting it all in binders so I can reuse it with another child! I do want to mention my girls are with me in the video so I apologize for any extra background noise. Make sure to follow me on instagram @loriandmichelle to see more of this in action on a daily basis.

Instagram mom that I mentioned in video where I got inspired for this method is April @the.five.girl.schoolhouse
