Lori and Michelle Podcast

#124 - Chatting about a tough and emotional topic - topical steroid withdrawal. Is it real? Did I use steroids in my eczema journey? Suicidal thoughts and more. So please know this might not be suitable for everyone, but it is from my own experience.  I pray God heals you and guides you to healing.

Thanks be to God for healing me and others from this.

If you want me to pray for you please message me or drop a comment, as I will add you to my prayer list

121 In today's episode, I, Lori, share more of what my homeschool curriculum picks 2022-2023 school year. I am sharing our 1st and 2nd Grade Curriculum Choices. I am a first time homeschool mom sharing what I am planning to do with my daughters. I picked these as my picks for this coming school year with much thought and prayer. I wanted a Christian based curriculum and I wanted a community. I also liked to keep things simple as this is my first time.

118 - Today's faith chat is a continued discussion after our Mark 10 Bible study. We talk about spiritual blindness, God doesn't owe us, and you are not divine. We hope to plant a seed of truth as we used to be blind.

117 - We remember people would quote Jesus saying in Mark 9:23, "Everything is possible for the one who believes?" and they would say you just have to believe and have enough faith. But what happens when God doesn't change your situation? This is a dangerous error used in manifesting, name it and claim it and prosperity gospel teachings. We also talk about the importance of hard times. If you are going through a hard time we hope this helps bring you comfort. Remember the power of God is not dependent on the amount of faith you have. We need the valleys to help us become more like Christ.

Just like in our previous video, we are pulling out the verses we remember hearing when we were caught up in the law of attraction and speaking truth on what they mean.

115 - Sharing what has been on our hearts lately after studying Mark 7 and other side videos we have been watching around clean foods, defilement of the heart, legalism, manifesting, sexual immorality, sin and how it is Jesus in us that changes us. We humbly share this as this used to be us and it is something we still have to be careful of. Remember as followers of Christ we get right because of Jesus, not by what we do. We hope this faith chat is a blessing to you.
