Lori and Michelle Podcast

104 -In today’s vlog we give a life, faith and health update. A lot of changes over here as we are personally going through some things and feeling called to slow down. So we wanted to let you know that we might not always have a new episode up every week. This will allow us more time to sit with a topic in prayer and not only are we will still reading and studying the Bible for the first time. But we have some side topics that we study on the side that has been really interesting to us and we want to sit with more, and we just want to make sure we are best serving you too.

Come join as we chat about health and supplements, plus Lori talking about Santa. Please know we are not passing any judgment on anyone or telling others what to do. We simply share why we don’t do things like elf on the shelf and Santa.

We feel those ideas teach the opposite of what the gospel is about, the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus. The world view of Christmas is about works as the gospel is about the work of Jesus. God gives us gifts because he loves us not based on our works.

103 - In today's episode, we are sharing an update: where the podcast is going, no more Bible studies, the Armor of God challenge to do with us until the end of the year, giving thanks to God and not walking around in fear, and much more.

Pause and join us in saying thank you Jesus.

We want to encourage us all to slow down and...

Praise God for all things.

Big things.

Little things.

Hard things.

Good things.

Meditate on Psalms 100:

We have learned more about the importance of praise, thankfulness and worship.

We will share more over time, for now, we just want you to stop and say thank you Jesus.

Encourage you to go and listen to this song - Psalm 100 from the Corner Room - off Youtube.

This is a new channel we have just come across and enjoy their songs as they sing scripture!

And join in with us and every morning put on the Armor of God. Do it every day to end out the year, are you with us on this?

97 - We say this with love...

No matter your background, if you have felt hurt by the church, had moments of doubt with God...

whatever it is for you...

it is important you do read the Bible yourself.

Don't take others' thoughts on it.

Read. Study. Discover. Reflect. Grow.

Because it just might surprise you what you discover like it has for us.

We have discovered things we had no idea were in there.

We have new levels of peace, freedom, joy...

And more appreciation for what Jesus did on the cross for us all

We have a deeper understanding of God’s grace and mercy.

We want the same for you.

Only Jesus can do it though.

Come learn more about our Lord.

It will change your life.

We don't read the Bible because we have to, or to check it off our list.

It’s about knowing God and falling in love with Him more, which is what He wants.

Our hearts.

Our time.

Remember it is MORE about your own personal relationship with God. Not how long you study the Bible, how fast you read through it, how many Bible verses you have memorized, or how pretty you Bible journaling is...

but to know God more and grow in your faith, you must read the word.

We don't read the Bible every day, but we do try our best as it has become a daily habit that has changed our lives in just 8 months.

Surrender your heart. Let Him teach you. Spend time with Him. Whatever that looks like for you.

It is worth it.

Have fun reading God’s word.
