Emmy nominated actress, writer, singer, and LGBT ally, Lorna Luft, will spend a few days doing a show in honor of Pride Week at Feinstein's 54 Below. She sits down with me for a few minutes to talk about why she feels the need to do the show, her finally understanding some of the BIG elements and her familial connection to the Stonewall Riots. She follows up the interview with a new stirring interpretation of a classic Rodgers and Hammerstein tune, Cockeyed Optimist.
