I'm sorry for my long unexplained absence. I'm back. Did you miss me?
Thank you to Palaye Royale for writing music that helps my daughter to get through her mental afflictions and introducing me to the song, How Do You Do, which is where the music for my theme came from. I do not own any rights to the music used. You can find Palaye Royale at: www.palayeroyale.com

I would like to apologize in advance that this episode is so short. It was a struggle just to get through the little bit that I did get out. Internally I am fighting a huge storm right now, and even asking myself the questions of, “How are you doing,” or “Are you okay,” is adding fuel to my symbolic flame. Bare with me, my voice does crack a few times. I promise to return to this subject again soon.

Welcome to my first Dinner Table Discussion. I hope to have many more of these to come. Today the advertisements will be at the end of the discussion as we talk non stop while we enjoy good conversation and good food.
Today my guests are Mrs. Thelma Scott, the founder of S.A.F.E. Diversity and Serious Talk 101, along with Eve Wallace, S.A.F.E. Diversity’s Scholarship Coordinator. We also have Author Cathy Jewel Chatman, Attorney Cedrick D. Forrest, and Author Keandra “Ke’Ke” Scott Tatum, The Rhapsoulist.
We will be discussing mental health in school and how we could possibly help our youth not to fall into the trap of human trafficking or other issues where these youth find themselves behind bars, without ever getting the true help they need.
